You may experience an "invalid address" error when attempting to add your TenX LTC wallet address to some apps or exchanges.
As our Litecoin implementation is brand new, the LTC addresses we use and support are the M-type Segwit addresses.
To avoid confusion with Bitcoin SegWit2x addresses, Litecoin changed the format of addreses with a '3'-prefix to ones with an 'M' prefix. This change affects the whole address, not just a part of it.
The TenX wallet will only accept M-prefix addresses in the interface.
However, the corresponding legacy '3'-prefix address will still point to the same location, so funds transferred to the legacy location will appear in your TenX LTC wallet.
We understand that some exchanges have not yet implemented the changes and still have LTC addresses listed as '3'-prefix, or will not accept 'M'-prefix addresses. To allow your TenX LTC wallet to work with and receive funds from these,
1. Run your TenX LTC wallet address through the Litecoin Foundation's converter tool
2. Copy and use the resulting '3' address with the service and use this as your deposit address.
